Musical Picnics
I ran 3 musical picnics over the summer of 2011. These were free events, although we raised funds for Amber Valley NCT and Turnditch School - managing to collect a whopping £250 via a donation box at each event - which was split between NCT and the School. Each picnic consisted of a 45 minute music session, folowed by a picnic and play in the park and started at 11am.

Events ran as follows:

• Hall Leys Park, Matlock - approx 60 families attended
• Little Eaton Park, Vicarage Lane - approx 45 families attended
• Crossley park, Ripley - over 100 families attended.

The events were so well attended and received that I shall make them an annual fundraiser event, so watch this space for the dates for 2012.

2012 Term Dates
Classes will run as follows:

Tues 10 Jan - Fri 10 Feb inclusive.
NB no class running in Ripley on Wed 25 Jan due to unavailability fo the hall (for the annual church pantomime)

No classes running Tue 14 Feb - Fri 17 Feb due to school holidays
Tue 21 Feb - Fri 30 March inclusive

No classes running Mon 2 April - Fri 13 April due to school Easter holidays
Tues 17 April - Fri 1 June

No classes running Mon 4 June - Fri 8 June due to school holidays and Golden Jubilee celebrations

BELPER: Tuesdays and Fridays

LITTLE EATON, Wednesdays
1.30-2.30 at Little Eaton Village Hall, Vicarage Lane, Little Eaton, DE21 5AE. There is a car park directly behind the hall with parking for up to 50 cars. view map

MATLOCK, Tuesdays
10.00-11.00 at the All Saints Church Hall, Smedley Street, Matlock, DE4 3JG
Located off Bath Road; turn left at the Gate Inn if you are traveling from Matlock. There is on road parking plus parking directly at the hall. view map

RIPLEY, Wednesdays
9.45 - 10.45 Ripley Methodist Church, Wood Street, Ripley, DE5 3DD.
There is limited parking directly outside the Hall, plus some on road parking.
The nearest car park is half way down Moseley Street. view map

For the Autumn term classes will run as follows:
13 Sept – 21 Oct, with venues and times as above.

The Winter term will run from 1 November – 15 December.
We will hold a Halloween party at all venues w/c 18 October and hope that as many children as possible will attend in fancy dress. The last session during the Winter Term for all venues will be our annual Xmas party and will run for 1.5 - 2 hours, depending on the venue.
Pre-booking will be required for these events.

Xmas Parties

Xmas party dates will be as follows and bookings for these will be allocated to those who pre-book per term, and then on a first-come-first-served basis:

• Belper, Friday classes, Fri 16 Dec, 10 - 11.45
• Matlock, Tues 20 Dec, 10.15 - 11.4
• Belper, Tues 20 Dec, 2pm - 3.30pm
• Ripley, Wed 14 Dec, 10 - 11.30
• Little Eaton, Wed 14 Dec, 1.45 - 3.15
